MES Academy of Medical Sciences started MES Institute of Paramedical Sciences in the academic year 2011 with the approval of the state government and is affiliated to KUHS. Our maiden venture was the start of BSc MLT degree course with an annual student intake of 30. Later we started three diploma courses also that is DMLT , DOTAT and DCVT with the student intake of 30 ,15 and 4 respectively. Both the diploma courses are conducted by The Directorate of Medical education, Govt. of Kerala. Duration of these is as following.

Our institute enjoys the distinction of being one of the best Paramedical Institution in the state with highly qualified and experienced faculty members, headed by Professor Dr. SYED MUSTAQ AHMED (MBBS, MD), the course Director of MES Institute of Paramedical Sciences who is also the Professor and HOD of Microbiology department in MES Medical College. The institute is provided with good Laboratory facility as well as operation theatre facilities ,to make available them good professionaly
